I ‘d like to see more sports cars with an optional DSG transmissions, I think it would be nice offer that transmission in this car because people have different preferences when it comes to the type of transmission they want to drive.
why oh why put music on this video? the elfin has a beautiful V8 on it. I really wanted to hear it and instead it’s overpowered by a very intense song.. just a thought for the future of car videos – no music – more engine sound
@davidjtravers Because this isn’t a cheaply made kit car. If you put one up against most American muscle cars, they’d be a long way behind. These are literally like dropping a V8 into a Lotus; motorcycle type power to weight ratio, razor sharp steering, and “pin back your face” kind of acceleration. Elfin have been quietly doing this for years, and only in recent times have they become more mainstream.
Your an idiot mate. Haha, that was really entertaining reading you make a tool of yourself like that. You have no idea what your talking about. If ford v8′s are so great then why does it get bent over and spanked so hard by the xr6 turbos and typhoons. I will tell you, they have more power and torque, Your a joke just like ford v8′s, they havent been cool since the old 351 days.
As an Aussie I’m not sure davidjtravers but I think it might be something like the old, ‘I can pick on my own brother but if anyone else does, watch out!’…perhaps?
hey mate, the reason why its not 20 grand is becuase it hasn’t been made on the cheap by importing or using cheap labour from china or south america, and the reason why people suddenly get angry about the whole issue is that these overseas countries however innocently and good they are producing are stealing manufacting jobs away from our own country. i’m sure the same thing happens in america. for 20 grand you’d have to be using either cheaply made components from china or elsewhere and the
I don’t think I deserved that, for a simple pricing of a car. A year later. Wow. I forgot all about this. Sorry for offending you. Why are australians so bitchy about Australian cars with American engines anyway? We think they’re great, but FUCK you all get real antsy about it. A year later. Wow. Get a life. And what is a tosser?
wait until they bring out the new ford F6 typhoon. HSV wont know what the hell hit them

I give up. I can’t argue with your passion. As a journalist, I love to see people with passion. But I only discuss the rights and wrongs of a car with brand- dispassionate people. Enjoy your Ford, it sounds great. Look out for my review on youtube next year.

Not a bad buy when you consider the cost of a New 427 SC Build… Having said that, just way beyond my budget.
